15 September, 2018
The University of Antwerp has made a Dutch preparatory course for highly educated newcomers. The objective of the course is to prepare participants for Dutch-language higher education. The course consists of five consecutive language proficiency levels. For their final exam, participants take the Interuniversitaire Taaltest Nederlands voor Anderstaligen (ITNA). The Dutch Preparatory Course is intensive and involves at least 15 class hours per week and an additional 2 hours of guided self-study. The study programme begins with a beginners Dutch module, which is combined with the Living and Working in Belgium course offered by Atlas. Participants can then progress to the next Dutch courses, which consist of various modules. These modules also include a component about preparing to enter Flemish higher education. Students can register between the 4th of December 2017 and the 15th of September 2018.
