SGDD-ASAM, in cooperation with International Medical Corps (IMC) and The UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR) provides services in Istanbul, Sakarya, Gaziantep, Izmir, and Adana with its Multi-Service Refugee Support Centers (MSC).The main goal of the centers is to improve the living conditions of Syrian refugees through improved access to healthcare and social services, mental health services (MHPSS), informal education, and legal counseling. In this respect, SGDD-ASAM staff, including social workers, primary health care professionals, psychologists, case workers, trainers and contracted lawyers, protection and peace building officers provide services to refugees. In the centers, language courses, vocational training, art, and music courses are organised for the beneficiaries of all ages and non-food Items (NFI) and Voucher Card distribution is made to meet basic needs of vulnarable refugees. At these Multi Service Centers, Syrian asylum seekers are able to take language courses in Turkish, English, and Arabic.
