Scholarship at Ministry of Science, Research and the Arts, Baden Württemberg
Post-graduates from any discipline of outstanding academic merit who complete a doctoral programme at a Baden-Württemberg higher-education institution or carry out an artistic development project are invited to apply to this scholarship. Applications are called for and awarded by the single higher-education institutions. Candidates are therefore asked to directly contact the institution of their choice for detailed information on scholarships and application procedures. The institutions also determine the funding amount, which is of EUR 1,500 at most. The funding covers a period of two years with the option to extend for a further 12 months. As the implementation of the State Law on Graduate Funding (LGFG) is left to the single institutions of higher education, there may be variations in the law's interpretation. Calls for application and deadlines for doctoral projects of the Baden-Württemberg institutions of higher-education are announced on the single institutions' websites.
