The University of Saskatchewan Law School offers the J.H Stewart Reid Memorial Fellowship Trust, which awards recipients a minimum of $5,000. To be eligible, candidates must be a Canadian citizen, or have landed immigrant or convention refugee status from April 30th of the year prior to application; be registered in a doctoral program at a Canadian university and have completed their comprehensive examinations, and have had their Doctoral thesis proposal accepted by April 30th; have a first-class academic record in the graduate program, and not hold scholarships that exceed in $25,000, including the J.H Stewart Reid Memorial Fellowship Trust.
