The Maison de la Francite aims to:
Facilitate the learning and mastery of French, oral and written, especially by young people and non-Francophones, including personal expression and creation.
To support the reforms launched by the major institutions (Conseil supérieur de la langue française, French Community Wallonia-Brussels, etc.) with a view to simplifying and modernizing the French language.
Promote the legitimate rights of French and Francophones, in particular the right of every person to receive messages in his or her language. In particular, ensure the correct application of the language legislation.
Contribute to the diffusion of French in new communication technologies.
Promoting Brussels's membership of the international Francophonie and its relations with other major French-speaking cities of the five continents.
Host other Francophone cultural associations on its premises that share its objective.
