This course is the first stage of the Introductory Level 1 of the Japanese Language program. Students taking this course are exposed to the vocabulary, grammar, and Japanese phrases as well as basic conversational Japanese in daily situational contexts.

What you will learn:

- The basics of the Japanese Language (or "Nihongo" as its called in Japanese) in a way that is fun and easy to understand.
- Demonstrate the ability to communicate ideas effectively at introductory level I
- Give appropriate response to the listening text at introductory level I
- Demonstrate the ability to comprehend text at introductory level I
- Write simple sentences, texts and dialogues at introductory level I
