The USW Refugee Sanctuary Scheme is a new scheme providing support to a limited number of eligible refugees via free English language tuition prior to starting an undergraduate course at the University. The bursaries will be allocated in order of date of complete course and bursary applications, once all have been allocated, the scheme will close.

What is provided by this scheme?

The USW Refugee Sanctuary Scheme will cover the full tuition fee costs for the Pre-sessional English Language Programme or the International Foundation Programme (Intensive English) for eligible applicants.

Applicants will be given guidance, where required, in the course application process by the University’s Enquiries and Admissions department.
